- What unique methods do you use in your body ballet sessions to improve flexibility and strength?
I’ll start by saying that body ballet is not ballet. Yes, it draws inspiration from classical ballet techniques, but it enriches them with elements of yoga, pilates, and breathing techniques. The result? A unique fitness workout that not only shapes a strong and slender body but also teaches us ballet grace, femininity, and lightness in movement.
- How do you adapt the workouts for people with different levels of physical fitness?
Body Ballet is primarily a therapeutic method. Its creator is a professional ballerina who, after an injury, sought a way to recover and created this method that allows her to maintain her ballet form with gentle, therapeutic care for the entire body. Regardless of flexibility or fitness level, the focus is on gentle body care, so the workouts are both safe, effective, and accessible to everyone.
- What advantages does body ballet offer for maintaining health?
Body ballet offers a unique approach to maintaining health that not only improves posture but also focuses on all the “problem” areas of the female body, strengthening the muscles without “bulking” them up. Instead, body ballet sculpts a gentle and elegant figure while simultaneously increasing flexibility and balance. The exercises stimulate the whole body, promoting not just physical strength but also internal balance, leaving a sense of lightness and harmony.
- How do you choose music for your workouts, and how does it impact the sessions?
Music is an integral part of every body ballet workout. It not only creates the atmosphere but also inspires movement. I select a combination of classical music remixes that blend the elegance of ballet with the dynamics needed for the workout. The music keeps the tempo of the exercises while simultaneously calming and instilling a sense of lightness and an emotional connection with the body.
- How does special equipment help improve results?
Body ballet workouts are structured in several stages. We start with warm-up exercises for the joints and feet to prepare the body for more intense movements. Then, we move on to barre exercises that strengthen muscles and improve posture. This is followed by balance exercises without support, where we work on stability and coordination. Finally, we conclude with floor exercises, stretching, and compensatory movements that relax the muscles and improve flexibility. Each of these stages is supported by appropriate tools that enhance both the effectiveness and safety of the workout.
- How do body ballet sessions help maintain youth and beauty of the body?
At its core, body ballet aims to make your body slender, improve your flexibility, elongate your muscles, and further develop your grace and femininity. Yes, this is the natural result of the technique and exercises. Over time, you’ll automatically notice how you carry your head higher, sit upright, walk smoothly and elegantly, and how every movement becomes graceful, like that of a true ballerina.
- What advice would you give to beginners who want to start with body ballet?
My advice to beginners is not to be afraid to take the first step. Everyone who is advanced was a beginner at the start. Body ballet is designed with the care that every exercise should be accessible and allow you to start gently, regardless of your level. The exercises aren’t complicated, but they do require attention to detail — tightening the core, straightening the back and chin, and breathing correctly. Progress comes not so much from the complexity of the movements but from mastering the technique and achieving harmony with your body.
- How do you motivate your clients to stay consistent with their workouts?
Results are a broad concept, and for everyone, they mean something different. Personally, it’s a true pleasure to watch not only how the bodies transform but also how the girls begin to feel and perceive themselves — how they smile when they look in the mirror, how they rejoice when they do an exercise they couldn’t do before, how their posture and gestures become more confident… how they take pleasure in being ladies!
- How long have you been working as a trainer?
For 10 years, with love, I have been helping women all over the world achieve their ideal figure, improve their posture, regain their confidence, and most importantly, learn to love their bodies. I’ve gone through all kinds of challenges — from serious limitations in the Russian ballet school to severe eating disorders. I’ve tried every diet in the world. I know from experience that the path to a woman’s beauty goes only through health. And I know that every woman is a goddess, she just needs to be reminded of it. And my way of doing that is through the body ballet method.
- Why did you choose “BalanSens” Studio as the place for your practice?
The studio offers an exceptional atmosphere, where everything is thoughtfully planned with care and attention. The cleanliness, order, and coziness create a small oasis where you can forget about the stress and chaos of everyday life and truly immerse yourself in the practice. But for me, the most valuable part is the studio itself — it’s not too large, so the groups are smaller, which allows me to give individual attention to each trainee, build a connection with them, and create an atmosphere of trust and closeness, which is incredibly important to me.
