MY NAME IS ELENA ALEXANDROVA
Nice to meet you
Pleased to meet you.
I am a former professional athlete with a background in sports education, actively engaged in sports until 2010. Following an injury and spinal surgery, I began practicing the Pilates method to aid recovery and maintain fitness.
Given my active nature and personal view of what a workout should entail, my introduction to the contrasting dynamics of Pilates was a new training philosophy for me. Over time, this practice completely transformed my attitude toward myself, my thoughts, and my actions. I realized I could feel my body deeply and experience a sense of lightness and freedom both in my movements and my mind.
Throughout my years of training, I explored various schools (Michael King, Daniela Dimcheva, Max Schor) and holistic practices, whose methods and philosophies about movement and health form the foundation of my work. As a Pilates instructor specializing in Reformer and mat-based Pilates training, I view Pilates not just as physical exercise but as a way of life.
I believe every person is unique and deserves individual attention and an approach tailored to mastering the method and its philosophy. However, few people recognize its value and the essence of integrity in action. The power of the mind. The key lies in the constructive and effective combination of bodily movement with control and mental focus.
It is essential to understand your role in this process—your dedication, receptivity, and acknowledgment that you are doing it for yourself. In my classes, I will teach you to control and balance your body, to concentrate and breathe with proper posture while moving, and to realize that our health—both mental and physical—depends on us. What you invest is what you get, no more, no less. Sharing my knowledge and helping others embrace it gives meaning to my work and fills me with gratitude.
